Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how the Good Morning! iMessage app ("the app"), developed by SpeckTech Inc., handles your information.
The short version
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information. Everything the app does happens on your device.
What the app does on your device
- Renders a greeting image by combining a background photo with text you choose.
- Optionally translates your custom message using Apple's on-device Translation framework. Translations happen locally on your iPhone — your text is never sent to SpeckTech or any third party by the app.
- Stores the resulting image temporarily in your device's temporary storage so it can be inserted into your Messages conversation.
What we don't do
- We do not run analytics. The app contains no third-party tracking SDKs.
- We do not collect crash reports beyond Apple's standard, opt-in TestFlight/App Store reporting (controlled by your iOS settings).
- We do not log, read, or transmit the content of your messages.
- We do not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
In-app purchases
Purchases inside the app are handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple — not SpeckTech — handles your payment information, receipt validation, and family sharing/refund flow. We receive only the entitlement status (which packs you have unlocked). For details about how Apple processes purchases, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Translation framework
Apple's Translation framework may, the first time you use a new language pair, prompt iOS to download a language model. That download happens between your device and Apple's servers under Apple's own privacy terms. SpeckTech is not involved in that exchange.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated text will appear at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's "What's New" release notes on the App Store.
