What devices are supported?
Dog, Disc, and Wind requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
What languages are available?
The app is available in English, German, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, French, and Spanish. The app automatically uses the language set on your device.
How do I change the language?
The app follows your iPhone's language setting. Go to Settings > General > Language & Region to change your preferred language.
How do I use slow motion?
While viewing a move's video, use the playback speed control to switch between normal and slow motion playback.
How do I scrub frame by frame?
Use the video scrubber to drag through the video timeline. This allows you to examine each frame of every move in detail.
What are the wind diagrams?
Wind diagrams show the recommended positioning of the player, dog, and camera relative to the wind direction for each move.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Dog, Disc, and Wind does not collect, store, or share any personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Troubleshooting
- Video not playing: Make sure your device is not in Low Power Mode, which can affect video playback. Try closing and reopening the app.
- Audio not working: Check that your iPhone is not in Silent Mode (the switch on the side of your device) and that the volume is turned up.
- App not displaying in my language: Ensure your preferred language is set in Settings > General > Language & Region. The app supports English, German, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, French, and Spanish.

Dog, Disc, and Wind is a training aid for Canine Disc Freestyle, teaching the style that Glen Speckert and Shaman developed during their years of competition. Originally released as the world's first Canine Disc training CD, this app brings the same video content to iPhone.
