Getting started

How do I create a visualization?

Open the Capture tab, look into the front camera, and hold a thought for about three seconds. Aura Visualizer records the subtle motion of your face and turns it into a visualization you can replay, reshape, and save.

What are the different styles?

Each style renders your facial motion a different way — as light, particles, or a glowing surface. Open a reading and try them; you can also blend two styles and compare moments side by side.

What is the energy slider?

It controls how strongly your motion drives the visualization — turn it up for a louder, more dramatic effect, down for something subtle.

Privacy

Is my face uploaded anywhere?

No. Aura Visualizer has no network access at all. Everything is processed on your device, nothing is uploaded, and there are no accounts, ads, or trackers. No video or photos of your face are stored — only the motion data needed to make your visualization, kept locally.

Where are my saved readings stored?

On your device only. Deleting a reading removes it; deleting the app removes everything it holds.

Sharing

How do I share a visualization?

From a reading, use the share option to send it through your device’s standard share sheet — to Messages, to your Mac, to a social network, or anywhere your share options reach. The app itself never transmits anything; sharing only happens when you choose a destination and send a finished visualization yourself.

Can I share with less detail?

When available, you can export at a reduced resolution that keeps the motion while softening the fine features of the face — you choose how much detail to share.

Troubleshooting

The camera isn’t working.

Aura Visualizer needs camera access to capture your face’s motion. Check Settings → Aura Visualizer and make sure Camera is enabled. The app requires a device with a front-facing TrueDepth camera.

My capture looks empty or didn’t register.

Make sure your face is well lit and centered in the frame, and hold reasonably still for the full few seconds. Then try again from the Capture tab.
